I screwed up. For some reason I made a mistake writing down my email address in my last order - the one which should have all the infantry I need for what is now going to be considered my Grymn Rapid response assault force - and so I got neither confirmation or Paypal invoice for the minis.
Hopefully Sally will be able to sort this for me, but waiting is such a PITA...and it's all my fault. Sob.
Maybe I should console myself by going at getting the bases of Scout squad 2 sanded...

Chin up mate! You've got some good stuff going on here (even if it isn't shown as clearly as you'd like in your pics) and I'm sure that you have unpainted/converted stuff to be getting on with while you wait.
ReplyDeleteI am in a similar situation with waiting for Grymn to arrive...I need three close combat Grymn to finish off all of the troops in my tunnel fighter army...the rest are all painted! So I feel your frustration!
Could you do me a favour and post an army list with the troops you are using for each squad? I am really interested to see how you are dealing with the issue of power armour rules for the Grymn.
The only REAL problem is that I want to do the painting on a squad-by-squad basis, and because I restructured what I was doing between orders, I don't HAVE any more full squads atm! D'oh.
ReplyDeleteI have some other stuff to be painting, but I'm really happy with my (for me) turbo painting style on these and would love to get them done so I can happily admire my first Grymn army before I start on a more lesuirely paced Grymn project.
Does that make ANY sense? I think maybe only gamers think like this...
